We would like to collect these photographs as a record of an event of great significance, and as evidence of the severity, extent and effects of the flooding on people, properties, businesses, land, gardens and crops.

There will be many discussions in the near future about the causes of the floods and possible prevention measures and a file of photographic evidence will be of enormous practical assistance in these discussions.

If you would like to submit photographs to the web site, please email them to the following address: floodphotographs@kempseyhub.co.uk. Please tell us where your photographs were taken and the date and time. If you would like your name associated with your pictures, please provide it, but this is entirely a matter of personal choice. All emails will be automatically acknowledged when received.

If you know of somebody who has photographs, but does not have access to the Internet, it would be very helpful if you could email them on their behalf.

For those who have photographs that are not in digital form, prints may be sent to the Kempsey Hub c/o the Parish Office. Please mark your envelope “Flood Photographs” and provide a return address so that they may be returned in due course.

If you have photographs available on a CD, this too may be mailed and will be returned subsequently.
