Kempsey Community Centre is located at the north end of the village. It is a Victorian building that up until the early 1980's was the village primary school. It has since then undergone many changes resulting in a very pleasant and comfortable building.
It is split into four sections with two of them being leased for business use to a children's day nursery and to a hair salon. The third area run by the Parish Council is a pleasant meeting/function room with adjacent kitchen and toilets. This room is regularly used by fitness groups, a flourishing camera club, a craft club, and a bridge club. It is also available for one off bookings for meetings, parties, and other gatherings. Should you be interested in viewing prior to booking, please contact the parish office which occupies the fourth area of the building.
