?? Guest Speaker at the Annual Parish Meeting – Local Nature Recovery Strategy

Kempsey Parish Council is pleased to announce that a guest speaker will be joining our Annual Parish Meeting on Thursday 21st May 2026 at 7.30pm to talk about the newly published Worcestershire Local Nature Recovery Strategy

As a rural parish with extensive green spaces — including 10% of all Worcestershire common land, two SSSIs, the River Severn floodplain, and a range of valued habitats — this strategy has real significance for our community, landowners, and farmers.

The LNRS focuses on working in partnership with those who manage land, helping them understand what the strategy means in practice and how it can support decisions around conservation, habitat improvement, and biodiversity projects.

If you’re interested in nature, farming, or the future of our local environment, this will be a valuable and informative session. All parishioners are warmly invited to attend.
